Maggie Pyner

2 tours from £365pp

Expert Overview

Maggs has a teaching background in science and maths progressing to work with Ofsted and running her own business in children’s nurseries. She has played bridge for over forty years, being a life master and playing at county level representing Norfolk, with her late husband John where they moved to for their retirement.

Maggs became a panel director for the EBU and alongside her husband John, who was a National EBU director, ran bridge congresses all over the country alongside holidays abroad and cruises. She also was involved with John in training and guiding bridge players through the club director training and assessment courses. She really enjoyed supporting players in developing their director skills.

Since John passed away, Maggs has returned to the Midlands to be nearer her daughter. Her hobbies, apart from bridge, include caring for her grandchildren, gardening and ‘whizzing’ around the countryside on her E bike and in her electric car visiting family and friends.

Maggs is really looking forward to meeting new people and renewing old acquaintances on the bridge scene.
