Have you ever wanted to play bridge on the iconic Ballroom dance floor in Blackpool Tower? Well, you now have the unique opportunity to do so! Staying at the 4-star Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston, originally a Victorian manor house, this experience is not to be missed.
For the highlight of this holiday, First for Bridge have secured exclusive use of the beautiful Blackpool Tower Ballroom for a whole day. We enjoy morning bridge on the dance floor, followed by a delightful afternoon tea, then back onto the dance floor for more bridge. This is sure to be a very special experience, and the memory of playing here alongside like-minded, newfound friends will last for many years to come.
Please note: on this holiday, you can choose to either play duplicate bridge with Masterpoints or less competitive, relaxed duplicate bridge with no Masterpoints. All sessions will run simultaneously throughout your stay.

Your Bridge Programme
Once at the hotel, you can choose which type of bridge you would prefer to play: duplicate bridge with Masterpoints or less competitive, relaxed duplicate bridge with no Masterpoints. All sessions will run simultaneously throughout your stay.
Bridge will be available on two evenings from 7:30pm until 10pm or 10.30pm, along with some morning or afternoon sessions.
For those playing for Masterpoints, these are awarded on evening bridge sessions and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also include an interesting bridge seminar as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish.

After a leisurely breakfast this morning, we journey by coach to Blackpool Tower. On arrival, we head to the iconic Ballroom, which is a real sight to behold. We then enjoy approximately two hours of bridge playing on the dance floor itself!
Afterwards, it is time to rest and refuel with a delightful afternoon tea, followed by some free time to take a stroll and take in the sea air if you'd like. Of course, you can't forget to take some pictures of the ballroom itself!
We again take our places on the dance floor as a full 3 hour afternoon bridge session gets underway.
On completion, it is time to make our way back to our waiting coach and head back to the hotel for a relaxed dinner this evening.
