Make yourself at home at the 4-star Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa and celebrate the dawning of another year alongside fellow bridge players! With spacious, modern bedrooms and a relaxed atmosphere throughout, a stay here provides the perfect escape. The hotel is situated seven miles from the picture-postcard city of Cambridge, and with a regular bus service running between the hotel and the city centre, it’s easy to explore this wonderful destination in your free time. During your stay, take advantage of the excellent leisure facilities the hotel offers, including a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

Your Bridge Programme
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:30pm and 10:30pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some mornings or afternoons. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also try to include interesting bridge seminars as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programme also allows time to relax, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
Make your own way to the hotel and meet our bridge team and your fellow players. Enjoy a welcome drink followed by dinner with a glass of wine and evening bridge.
There will be a singles meeting to find a bridge partner if needed.

Following our bridge session, we see in the New Year with canapés and a glass of prosecco.
