This bridge holiday is based at the Tiverton Hotel Lounge & Venue, set in two and a half acres of mature gardens. On the edge of the delightful market town of Tiverton, it is just a 10-minute stroll into the town itself. The town is full of history and heritage, with the beautiful Tiverton Castle and the 11th-century Bickleigh Castle. Why not explore the rich heritage further by visiting the Tiverton Museum of Mid-Devon? During your stay, you will enjoy a cream tea on one afternoon.
The town also has a great selection of unique independent shops and boutiques, along with plenty of eateries to choose from, if you'd like to sit and relax a while. Another 10-minute stroll from your hotel takes you to the Grand Western Canal Country Park. Take a wander along the canal and maybe call in to the tea rooms or cafés – you may even spot a horse-drawn barge! The National Trust property of Knightshayes Court & Gardens built in 1869 is close by to Tiverton, and a real gem worthy of a visit.

Your Bridge Programme
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:30pm and 10:30pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some mornings or afternoons. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also try to include interesting bridge seminars as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programme also allows time to relax, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
Make your way to the Tiverton Hotel & Lounge to meet your bridge team and get acquainted with your fellow players. There will be a singles meeting for you to find a partner if needed.
Your welcome drink and dinner is followed by bridge this evening.
Join us for morning bridge sessions. Your afternoons are then free to relax and explore your surroundings before dinner and bridge each evening.
Join our bridge director and learn some new tricks during our seminar this morning. There will be a bridge session this afternoon for those who wish to play. Enjoy dinner and bridge this evening.
After breakfast, it’s time to check out of the hotel and make your own way home.
You will stay for four nights at the Tiverton Hotel Lounge & Venue.
