You will be accompanied by an experienced bridge director and friendly hosts, with Masterpoints and prizes to be won, as well as two weekly bridge seminars included.
The island of Lanzarote, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, boasts striking landscapes of lava lakes and craters, volcanic caves, golden sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Its uniquely beautiful scenery invites you to relax and unwind while enjoying a warm climate.
Enjoy a relaxing bridge holiday and take advantage of the excellent facilities at your 5-star hotel, set in whitewashed buildings around a lagoon-style pool near the fishing village of Playa Blanca. The hotel is located on the seafront, overlooking La Mulata Beach with views of Isla de Lobos and Fuerteventura, and offers spectacular sunsets over the sea. There’s plenty to keep you entertained, including two buffet restaurants, a Piano Bar, Sports Bar, Mike's Coffee, and La Choza pool bar. Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing bridge, we try to include interesting bridge seminars, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:30pm and 10:30pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
During your bridge holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programmes also allow time to relax, giving the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.
When you are not in the bridge room, enjoy the fabulous facilities this beautiful resort hotel has to offer, including five adult swimming pools – one of which is heated during the winter. The Despacio Thalasso Centre offers a wide range of seawater-based treatments and massages at an additional cost, and there’s also a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, and a gym with fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean.
Your all-inclusive package means you’ll have all meals, local and international drinks, cocktails, and snacks included. You’ll also be able to enjoy a meal at one of the hotel’s themed à la carte restaurants during your stay. If you want to venture further afield, the hotel is just 3 km from Calle Limones, Playa Blanca’s shopping area, and Flamingo Beach is only 1.5 km away.
