Starting out as a vicarage in 1831, the Park Royal Hotel in Cheshire is now a sleek, modern hotel and spa, with charming touches that make it all the more inviting for guests. We stay at this comfortable hotel for four nights, enjoying a fantastic programme of bridge led by an EBU-qualified director and friendly hosts, as well as a visit to the astonishing Tatton Park. Set within 1,000 acres of deer park, this historic estate features an elegant grand mansion, 50 acres of gardens, including the walled kitchen garden, and a working farm. Sure to be a fantastic spring discovery alongside like-minded players, you don't want to miss out!

Itinerary

Your Bridge Programme
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:30pm and 10:30pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some mornings or afternoons. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also try to include interesting bridge seminars as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programme also allows time to relax, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.

Today we board our coach and head to Tatton Park. Set within 1,000 acres of deer park, this historic estate features a grand mansion, 50 acres of gardens, including the walled kitchen garden, and a working farm. Here, you have time to explore at leisure as much or little as you want to.
Discover the elegant mansion as you make your way through the servant’s quarters, staterooms and bedrooms. Stroll through the wonderful gardens, taking in the Walled Kitchen Garden, Rose Garden, Italian Garden and Tower Garden, and relax by the Golden Brook before heading to the Choragic monument. You can also visit the 40-acre heritage farm and see how rural life has changed over the centuries before heading over to the Stable Yard to browse the gift shop, Housekeeper's Store, second hand bookshop, and maybe even to the Stables Restaurant to enjoy a spot of refreshments.
We return to the hotel and enjoy dinner followed by evening bridge.
