Once the Christmas rush becomes but a distant memory, take time to indulge in your passion on this extended festive stay, covering both Twixmas and New Year. We bid farewell to 2026 and celebrate the beginning of a new year alongside like-minded bridge players, making ourselves at home at the 4-star Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa. With spacious, modern bedrooms and a relaxed atmosphere throughout, a stay here provides the perfect escape.
The hotel is situated just seven miles from the picture-postcard city of Cambridge, and with a regular bus service running between the hotel and the centre, it’s easy to explore this wonderful city in your free time. During your stay, you can also take advantage of the excellent leisure facilities the hotel offers, including a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. This fantastic six-night holiday is sure to leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for the year ahead!

Your Bridge Programme
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:30pm and 10:30pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some mornings or afternoons. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also try to include interesting bridge seminars as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programme also allows time to relax, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
Make your own way to the hotel and meet our bridge team and your fellow players. Enjoy a welcome drink followed by dinner with a glass of wine and evening bridge.
There will be a singles meeting to find a bridge partner if needed.

If you'd like, you can take advantage of the excellent leisure facilities the hotel offers, including a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Or, you could venture into lovely Cambridge, with the bus stop situated just outside the hotel offering easy access.
