What a year it’s been at First for Bridge! As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back on a truly remarkable twelve months. Our guests have played bridge in some of the most beautiful corners of the UK and Europe, forging friendships, exploring new places and making memories that will last a lifetime. With so many incredible holidays to choose from, here’s just a taste of where we’ve been together…
Let’s begin with Ireland, which offered our guests a breath of fresh Atlantic air along the west coast. This Play & Explore holiday was the perfect blend of bridge and adventure – days spent discovering dramatic coastlines, charming villages and lively local culture, followed by evenings of friendly competition and laughter. The camaraderie was as warm as the Irish welcome, and the scenery was simply unforgettable.
We also headed south to sun-drenched Sicily for a Premier holiday at the Acacia Resort. Here, guests experienced the magic of Mediterranean living – think leisurely games of bridge, delicious Sicilian cuisine, and time to relax by the sea. Exploring ancient ruins and vibrant markets added a dash of adventure, while the resort’s welcoming atmosphere made everyone feel at home.
For those seeking a slower pace, our Relaxed holiday in Majorca was a highlight. Set in a tranquil location, this getaway was all about unwinding. We enjoyed gentle games, a guided visit to Palma de Mallorca, and plenty of time to soak up the island’s beauty. Whether exploring picturesque villages or simply enjoying the company of fellow bridge lovers, Majorca proved the perfect destination to recharge.

Rounding off the year, our Premier holiday in Turkey brought together superb hospitality, stunning surroundings, and, of course, plenty of bridge. The ever-popular Raga Hotel in Side offered a luxurious base for exploring Turkey’s rich history and vibrant culture, with bridge sessions that were as lively as the local bazaars.
As you can see, 2025 has been a year to remember – full of discovery, laughter, and the joy of bridge in wonderful places. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
