Premier Bridge
Overview
Our Premier duplicate bridge holidays are suited to players who play regularly in clubs and enjoy a varied bridge programme, which usually includes Swiss events on longer holiday durations. Bridge sessions are directed by EBU-qualified directors, and Masterpoints and prizes are awarded. Each holiday is accompanied by our friendly bridge hosts, who will ensure that all guests feel welcome, and partners are always found for solo players. Our holidays are usually accompanied by three bridge staff, so we can avoid half tables in the bridge room in most instances.
All events are scored electronically and results are presented on our BridgeWebs website at bridgewebs.com/first, as well as a record of each hand played. Our bridge director will offer two weekly morning seminars on an overseas holiday, and one morning seminar on a shorter UK break, and our main bridge session is played every evening generally between 19:30 and 22:30pm. We offer some morning or afternoon bridge sessions on overseas and UK holidays. The amount of day sessions offered will depend on demand, and will complement the excursion programme.
